Some of the Finer Details
When Am I Billed?
We bill every Monday for what you spent in the previous 7 days. Campaigns are pre-paid, so when you first create a campaign, you will be billed once for the weekly budget. Each Monday after that, you are just billed for exactly what you spend. In essence you are “refilling” the budget each week.
Example: If you create a campaign with a $100 weekly budget, you’ll be charged $100. If you spend $65 of the budget that week, you’ll be billed just $65 on Monday when the campaign budget refills. If you spent just $20 of the budget, you’ll be billed just $20 when the budget refills on Monday.
All campaign refill charges are aggregated into one single charge. You will see “SharpSpring Ads” on your credit card statement as the billing name.
Access to the SharpSpring Ads Platform is completely free as long as you spend at least $100 per month on your ads. If you do not spend at least $100, we will bill you our alternative monthly fee of $39. This is to help us maintain your audience data, offset storage costs, and maintain your continued access to our reporting.
$100 Ad Credit Details
When you join SharpSpring Ads, the first Facebook or web retargeting campaign you launch will be completely free for 2 weeks after it launches or until it reaches $100 in spend, whichever comes first.
You’ll receive an e-mail 2 days before your campaign’s 14 day trial timer expires to let you know. If your campaign is still active at the end of the trial period, we will automatically switch it from free trial mode to full mode and bill you the budget amount you set for the campaign. This ensures continuity of ad serving.
Accounts are limited to one free trial campaign, which can be launched as soon as your site’s ‘All Visitors’ audience has cookied 250 visitors in a 7 day period.
Withdrawing Unspent Funds
You can request any remaining funds be withdrawn from your account at any time. To request the withdrawal:
- Head to Manage-> Campaigns and pause the campaign(s) you want refunded.
- Write an e-mail to ads@sharpspring.com with subject line “Funds – Account name”, where “Account name” is the name of your business in SharpSpring Ads. In the body of the email, include the campaigns you’d like refunded.
- We will initiate a refund on unspent funds back to the credit cards they were received from within 48 hours. There is a 7% administrative fee for withdrawing funds.
Launching New Campaigns
When you launch a new campaign, you’ll be charged the amount you set for your campaign budget. From then on, we will bill every following Monday to refill your campaign’s budget.
We also offer a free trial on your first campaign to all new users so you can see the ROI firsthand before investing more. Your cost will vary depending on the vertical and competition.
