All Onboarding Is Not Created Equal

For Yoda and Luke Skywalker, it was The Force. For Mister Miyagi and Daniel-son, it was karate chops and crane kicks. When it comes to helping you master SharpSpring, it’s our personalized onboarding process and Onboarding Specialists who ensure that you get the time, training and guidance to be successful with marketing automation as quickly as possible.

What Sets SharpSpring Onboarding Apart?

It’s no secret that SharpSpring’s model is unique – we offer a robust and powerful marketing automation platform at a fraction of the cost of our competitors. But when you combine this with an onboarding process that’s comprehensive, flexible and super affordable, you have everything you need to start generating ROI with marketing automation from day one.

Here are a few things that make SharpSpring’s onboarding different (and would cost an arm and a leg elsewhere):

We put in the time.
We give every new partner a 60-day training period in which to learn the system. And we mean 60 days. Not a limited number of sessions. Not a block of hours that run out before the job is done. Not a quick, onsite ‘Hello’ and then we’re gone. We spend a full 60 days together to ensure that you’re able to fit the training into your schedule while still having time to manage your day-to-day operations.

We work closely with you.
You’ll be assigned an Onboarding Specialist during your 60-day training period. While our entire team is available and eager to help you learn the platform, your Onboarding Specialist will be your dedicated point of contact and your number-one advocate as you work to achieve specific goals. He or she will work closely with you to develop a training program that suits all of your needs.

Need to meet a few times early in the week, but the end of the week is no good? We can do that. Want to have separate training sessions for different teams or team members? We can do that. Have a last-minute campaign that you’d like launch? Yep, we can show you how to make that happen. We make sure you’re not working with a stranger, but with someone who wants to ensure your long-term success with our platform.

We help you resell the platform.
Partner enablement is the most unique aspect of our training process, and it exists specifically for our marketing agency partners. We make a ton of rebrandable resources available to our agency partners to help them communicate the value of marketing automation and resell SharpSpring. From presentations and case studies to a sandbox environment to pricing and comparison tools, we empower our partners with the resources they need so we can all grow together.

Are you new to marketing automation and need an onboarding that starts with the basics? We can do that. Are you experienced with another platform and need help migrating to SharpSpring? We can help. Is your agency focused on acquiring new clients and revenue? If so, we’ll center your onboarding process around partner enablement and reselling.

Let’s recap what’s included during the first 60 days of onboarding:

  • Your own dedicated Onboarding Specialist.
  • Training and assistance with the technical set-up and integration of SharpSpring.
  • Unlimited training within the platform for your entire team.
  • Assistance with connecting SharpSpring to third-party applications.
  • Guidance on executing marketing campaigns/initiatives.

Agency-Specific Benefits:

  • Full access to our Partner Support Team.
  • Assistance with selling SharpSpring to your clients (e.g., joint sales demos, joint training sessions, rebrandable materials, etc.).
  • Guidance/assistance in completing the partner certification program.

Why Onboarding Matters

When selecting a marketing automation platform, there are a lot of factors to consider. Be sure not to overlook how a provider handles onboarding – what’s included, what costs extra and how the process is structured. It may seem like a small detail, but effective onboarding is crucial to your long-term success with marketing automation.

This is the first in a series of blogs in which we’ll deep-dive into the SharpSpring onboarding process. Our next installment will highlight some helpful steps new partners can take prior to beginning onboarding as well as best practices for maximizing your SharpSpring onboarding experience.
